About You

We already have an excellent technical team we would like to keep on enhancing with a 3D Point Cloud Researcher. If you want to build up your skills and knowledge and are truly passionate about technology, this role is for you! You will easily be able to do so if you hit these buttons: 

  •  PhD in Computer Science, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
  • 3+ years developing in Java and C++
  • Experience in one of the following:
    • Developing point cloud registration algorithms
    • SLAM algorithms
    • ICP algorithms
  • Computer vision experience (OpenCV)
  • Experience implementing numeric optimisation problems
  • Comfortable with linear matrix/vector algebra, correlations, transforms, 3D Geometry, digital signal processing
  • Git Flow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent problem solving ability
  • Experience developing systems for high demand

If you also possess any of the below, even better! These are the bonus skills we are looking for:

  • Entwine, PDAL
  • Experience with PCL
  • Experience with Python
  • Development for 3D Point Cloud
  • Developing 3D graphics solutions
  • AWS experience
  • 3D Meshing modelling experience
