ABOUT US

Correvate’s Vercator® technology was initially created in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College London, UCL, and then, on 1st January 2018, exclusively licensed to Correvate. Since then the IP portfolio has been acquired outright by Correvate, substantially enhanced and taken into the cloud.

Our patented technology enables the automatic alignment and subsequent analysis of 3D point cloud datasets created using any scanning technology of any wavelength.  A short paper describing its operating principals and benefits of deployment can be found here.

The technology’s first market was the AEC sector (grouping Architecture, Engineering and Construction) where professionals typically create a ‘digital twin’ of targets of interest, yielding improvements in their productivity. Vercator is now also commonly utilised in many market areas in addition to the AEC, including mining, infrastructure, real estate, film & TV, manufacturing and sports.
